| and understand what parts you were talking about. You'll need to remove the lower half of the shroud to get the top out. As for the covers, I think you mean the timing belt covers, the ones that cover the cam gears? They have hex bolts. Were you using a metric allen wrench or an SAE one? If you used an SAE one, it was probably slightly too small and thats why they stripped out. Get a set of metric allens and try that. You may need to order a new set when you get them out. Good luck!
